Surround Sound Smorgasbord - This receiver not only provides you all the surround sound excitement of Dolby Digital and DTS, it takes it a big step further with the latest advances in home theater sound; Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES. Dolby Digital EX is an extended version of the Dolby Digital Multichannel Audio System that adds a matrixed surround back channel. Through a sophisticated encoding and decoding process, surround (back speakers) is reproduced by three different signals instead of the two surround channels of traditional Dolby Digital. This produces higher definition and a smoother sense of motion. Dolby Pro Logic II processing also provides options for enjoying surround sound from stereo sources with both movie and music modes. Powerful Connections - The RXD302B gives you some interesting connection options. It offers high quality component video inputs and outputs along with S-Video and composite hook-ups. It allows you to receive audio signals from your PC, so you can listen to music you've downloaded from the internet (legally, of course) through your home sound system.
